SUMMER ENGAGE IS FILLED! Looking forward to a fun camp
Empowering middle school students to learn more about the multiple careers in Health Sciences. This summer three 1/2 day Academy will explore all aspects of healthcare. Students will engage in simulations to discover the many different healthcare fields. Each student will fill out a job shadow form for their time at the Great Plains Health. Space is limited to 30. Registration closes June 30th or when full.
Students who participate will:
- engage in opportunities of interest rich in creativity
- develop critical thinking and inquiry skills
- improve listening skills
- enhance collaboration and team building skills
Drop off instructions for parents:
Please drop students at 8:00 A.M.
Enter the parking lot from Francis (northeast side of the hospital – between the hospital and Red Cross). Drop off at the lawn area, then exit to the left (east onto Willow Street).
Pick up is at 12:30 P.M. at the same location as drop off
Attendance and Behavior:
Daily attendance is expected by all participants and staff members. If a student misbehaves, the parent/guardian will be contacted that day explaining the situation and what must be corrected. If the student misbehaves a second day, the parent/guardian will be informed their child can no longer attend the Engage Camp.
