Changes to our walk for education this fall will make for a new element of family fun that helps schools.

Students Steppin' Out for Education

Registration 3:30-4pm
Walking starts from the "backyard of the high school" at 4pm
Pep rally and prizes at 5pm
Bulldog Backyard Bar-B-Q 5p-7:30p
NPHS Home Football Game 7pm

As preparation begins for the student walk in 2010, we have to celebrate the more than $100,000 that this walk has brought to our schools in its first five years. Date for 2010 has been selected and a committed group of volunteers is determined to make our sixth walk the best ever!

We need your help. If you can volunteer time at the event, chair a committee, provide sponsorship for the event, underwrite a prize...contact us.

The Bulldog Backyard Bar-B-Q is a its second year and is a vibrant addition to our walk on October 22, 2010. This is an expanded tailgate party that will include fun for the entire family. Bar-B-Q teams will compete for special grilling honors as they "show off" their skills. We are looking for teams that are willing to grill! Proceeds from the tailgate party support students programs that the NPPS Foundation oversees like our REACH Teacher Grants and Prepared to Learn Fund.
