Class Reunions are Starting Soon
Are you celebrating an anniversary this year? If you are one of
the NPHS Alumni that will be celebrating a "5" or "0" this year, make
sure you are up to speed on the plans for your class celebration.
Many of the classes have noted that the Foundation is "information
central" for their big event. Check the Alumni page often for
updates on your celebration.
Everyone understands that sometimes it is hard to return for your
class reunion. But, leave the past behind and celebrate those
great connections with friends that you have not seen. You will

Students Steppin' Out for Education adds Bulldog BBQ
Helping Schools has never been so fun! This year the organizing
committee for our student walk for education has added a new family
event--NPPSF Bulldog Backyard Bar-B-Q. The date is September
18th, 2009. We are looking for school sponsors, school
coordinators, corporate sponsors and grilling teams.

Buffalo Elementary GAP Grant Excites Attendance
Buffalo School has seen more students with perfect attendance and a
significant increase in attendance due to a NPPSF REACH Grant.
This grant targets participation in learning by giving students
and parents positive rewards for decreasing days absent from school.
This North Platte school had the highest level of absentees in
the district. Some students missing more than 30 days per school
year. With the help of this grant, students attending school on a
regular basis got rewards. As a whole the level of attendance
increased, all due to the REACH Grant! Donors like you make these
programs possible. THANK YOU for helping Buffalo students with
this grant.
